Govt seeks detailed estimates for restoration of damaged roads

Deputy Chief Minister in-charge of PWD (Roads), Prestone Tynsong on Tuesday said the department would soon submit a proposal for repairing and restoration of damaged roads due to rain-related incidents across the state.

“Instruction has been given to all executive engineers to conduct a site inspection of the damaged roads,” Tynsong told reporters.

He said the executive engineers are also asked to prepare and submit detailed estimates for repairing and restoration of such roads at the earliest, so that the department can push for necessary sanctions.
