Governor Phagu Chauhan takes the lead in cleaning drive at Raj Bhavan, Shillong

Meghalay Governor, Phagu Chauhan on Sunday led a cleaning drive in and around the premises of Raj Bhavan, Shillong.

The cleanliness initiative was organized in response to Prime Minister’s Narendra Modi’s call for ‘Ek Tareekh, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath’, to mark the celebration of Gandhi Jayanti. This initiative is a run-up to the ‘Swachhata Pakhwada- Swachhata Hi Seva’ 2023 campaign.

Dr. B D R Tiwari, IAS, Commissioner and Secretary to the Governor, Government of Meghalaya along with officers and staff of Raj Bhavan took part in the cleaning drive.
