GHADC polls: UDP releases 3rd list of 7 candidates

The United Democratic Party (UDP) has released its third list of seven candidates for the elections to the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC), slated for April 12.

The list was approved by a special committee constituted by the party to look into the preparation for the GHADC polls, on Tuesday.

The candidates are Arun N Marak from Williamnagar constituency, Henston M Marak – Batabari, Cary Marak – Balachanda, Deepak Sangma – Barengapara, Mijon Marak – Nogopara, Salseng R Marak – Siju and Bishal Arengh – Silkigre.

The UDP has so far announced names of 17 candidates.
