    Frank Yamaha on Friday unveiled the much awaited maxi scooter ‘Yamaha Aerox’ powered by a 155cc engine to provide a great ride in the hills of Meghalaya.

    Powered by Blue Core technology, the Aerox gets its powers from a liquid-cooled 4 valve fuel injected engine besides the ABS (Anti-lock and Braking System) that gives you a great braking performance with superior control in the winding roads of this beautiful hill state.

    The Aerox comes equipped with Y-connect that give you plenty of information about the vehicle on the personal mobile phone of the rider.

    Priced at Rs 1.30 lakhs (ex-showroom), the premium bike comes equipped with the latest technologies to ensure that the rider gets a premium ride experience.

    As part of the launch of the Aerox, Frank Yamaha team has also announced some cashback benefits for the foot-soldiers and working journalists in Meghalaya besides assistance for them.

    To acknowledge the service of the media persons, Frank Yamaha has also felicitated over 60 working journalists in Shillong city at the launch of the Aerox scooter in collaboration with NESFAS and the Shillong Press Club.

    “We acknowledge the service of each one of the journalists who risked their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure that factual information reaches the people.

    For this yeo-man service, we at Frank Yamaha, organised this small program to felicitate each one of them as a gesture of respect and gratefulness,” FY team leader Samkuparlang Sohtun said.

    “In this information age, fake information can be detrimental to the society at large and hence the importance of factual information is paramount. Frank Yamaha acknowledges this,” he added.

    Frank Yamaha is also excited as NESFAS team came aboard for the program serving us their mouthwatering food items sourced from farmers across the state.
