Free LPG connection to women beneficiaries under PMUY-2.0

The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), West Jaintia Hills has informed that the Government of India has approved the release of additional 60 lakhs Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala 2.0 (Phase -2) LPG connections to women beneficiaries of economically weaker section and West Jaintia Hills District is one of the district enlisted for releasing free LPG connection.

In connection with this, the Deputy Commissioner has informed and requested the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Amlarem Sub-Division, Amlarem, Block Development Officers the District to identify the economically backward women beneficiaries within their jurisdiction for enrolling in the Phase of the scheme through village heads
