    The seven-year-old boy, who one of amongst those consuming wild mushrooms, was shifted to a city hospital for further medical treatment.

    Dimah Gashnga, who was admitted in the Norman Tunnel hospital, was referred to Woodland hospital on Monday, sources said. 

    His father Morison Dhar (40) and their neighbor Katdilia Khonglah (26) died after they ate the wild mushrooms collected from a nearby forest and fell seriously ill on Sunday.

    The incident had affected three families.

    All hailed from Lamin village under Amlarem sub-division along the international border with Bangladesh.

    However, the five other children of Morison have been discharged from Nongtalang CHC.

    Morison’s brother in-law and Katdilia’s siblings (6) and their three neighbors are still undergoing treatment at Jowai civil hospital at Ialong.

    Sources informed that the condition of most of the victims are said to be stable.
