FKJGP demands closing down of dirty eateries

SHILLONG: The Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo People (FKJGP) has demanded the authorities concerned to close down eateries with dirty kitchens.

This was after the members of the FKJGP led by its education secretary Reginald Thabah conducted a surprise checking on Thursday and found out that eateries along Stand Jeep in the city are very dirty.

Thabah said the conditions of these eateries are very unhygienic adding that despite complaint lodged in the past, no action has been taken till today.
