    The Meghalaya Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) sought the cooperation of political parties for active participation of Booth Level Awareness Groups (BAGs) in areas with low enrolment and low voter turnouts.

    The CEO was addressing a State Level meeting convened by the State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Meghalaya with State Level Representatives of Political Parties on Tuesday.

    During the meeting, they discussed on the need to share transparency measures on Summary Revision process, posting of number of enrolments received, shifting deletions, change of address, district wise status of enrolment on public domain through CEOs website and various efforts undertaken by State and District level machinery to ensure purity, health, inclusiveness, tech enabled and transparency parameters.
