EKH police rescue missing girl from Bihar
A 17-year-old missing girl was rescued by the East Khasi Hills police from Bihar on Tuesday.
Sonali Kumari, a resident of DPI Compound, Crinoline Swimming Pool Road, Shillong had gone missing since December 21, 2022 from her residence.
In this connection, a case was registered with the Laban police station, District SP Sylvester Nongtnger said on Wednesday.
“On acquiring some clues on the matter, a police team from East Khasi Hills District led by Inspector KP Singh, OC Laitumkhrah PS proceeded to Bihar in search of the missing girl and recovered Miss Sonali Kumari yesterday from Bidupur village, Vaishali district, Bihar,” he said.
