    EJHDCA registered their first win in the MCA U-16 Boys Inter District Tournament 2025 with a 55-run victory over SWKHDCA on April 25 at madan Thad, Mukhla Mission. This win came after EJHDCA lost their opening match to SCA-B, while SWKHDCA had won their earlier game against WKHDCA.

    SWKHDCA won the toss and opted to field first. EJHDCA posted a total of 183 runs in 39 overs. I Thuh Bha Dkhar played a crucial role, scoring 76 runs off 91 balls, including 13 boundaries. Wadkidamei Lapasam provided solid support with a quick 36 off 28 balls, hitting six fours and one six. Generous Dkhar contributed with 19 runs.

    For SWKHDCA, Sunshinestar Nongsiej was the standout bowler, taking 3 wickets for 33 runs in 10 overs. Phrangborlang Syiemlieh also took 3 wickets, while Steviericson Iawphniaw and Pynkmenlang Lyngdoh claimed two wickets each.

    In reply, SWKHDCA were dismissed for 128 runs in 23.3 overs. Phibanaibor Iawphniaw, the captain and wicketkeeper, top-scored with 41 runs from 40 balls, including five fours and one six. Nebanson Nongsiej added 20 runs, while Steviericson Iawphniaw contributed 14 runs.

    However, the star performer of the match was Nikhil Dkhar, who delivered a stunning performance with the ball, taking 5 wickets for 27 runs in 6 overs, including a hat-trick. His hat-trick came in the 23rd over, where he first dismissed Clifordstar Lyngkhoi, caught by Generous Dkhar for 2 runs. He then got Lawaniaineh Shangdiar caught behind by wicketkeeper Samanki Langstang for a duck, followed by Gilford Iawphniaw, who was caught by Risuk Sumer for zero.

    Generous Dkhar also bowled well, claiming 3 wickets for 30 runs in 7.3 overs. I Thuh Bha Dkhar and Risuk Sumer each took one wicket.
