The different educational institutions in East Khasi Hills district have agreed to increase their capacity intake to accomodate more students, who are seeking admission to Class XI.

The decision was taken after a meeting convened by the district administration with all the head of educational institutions having plus two or HSSLC category of East Khasi Hills District on April 14, with an appeal to enhance their capacity to accomodate more students in their institution without compromising the quality of education.

“In this regard, the head of the institutions have revised their capacity and the same is put up in the district website (https://eastkhasihills.gov.in),” the deputy commissioner said in a statement on Tuesday.
