    Sibhi Chakravarthy Sadhu, IAS, District Magistrate & District Election Officer, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong has declared that 25th, 26th & 27th February, next as “Dry Days”
    under Section 135 C of the Representation of the People Act, 1951

    The District Magistrate sternly warned that no spirituous, fermented or intoxicating liquors or other substances of a like nature shall be sold, given or distributed at a hotel, eating house, tavern, shop or any other place, public or private, and within a polling area.

    Dry Day will be imposed on 2nd March next being day for Counting of Votes in the District.
