Dry Day declared in East Jaintia Hills

The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat has declared the 26th January, 2024 as “Dry Day” throughout the entire East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat on account of “Republic Day”.

All bonded Wholesalers, IMFL retailers, Bars, Canteens and Out-stills shall remain closed in the entire area of East Jaintia Hills District on the above mentioned date.

Any violation of the order will be viewed seriously, added the Deputy Commissioner.
