Drug trafficker arrested with 920 tablets of Nitrazepam at Umshyrpi

A drug trafficker was arrested with over 920 tablets of Nitrazepam at Umshyrpi bridge on Thursday evening, SP (City) Vivek Syiem informed.

One mobile phone, eight newspaper pages used in wrapping the tablet strips and a black sling bag were also recovered from the 45-year-old man, he said.

A case under the NDPS Act for trafficking Psychotropic substances has been registered against him  at Lumdiengjri police station.
