Drug peddler from Lad Rymbai arrested in Shillong with heroin
One drug peddler was arrested along with herion in Shillong on Monday.
Nimu Chyrmang of Lad Rymbai was arrested after he was trying to flee away by throwing one plastic bag from his jacket when he was stopped for not wearing a helmet.
He was riding a scooty bearing no. ML 05 Y 7653.
On checking the plastic packet, 109 small size vials containing suspected Heroin were found.
“Accordingly, EKH ANTF was called for taking necessary action. Total weight of Heroin recovered from 109 vials is 1.95gms,” SP Vivek Syiem said in a statement.
He said a case was registered with the Madanriting police station.
