    The District Planning & Development Council, North Garo Hills district met the Heads of various line departments on Friday to approve the Draft Annual Plan, 2021-2022 at the Circuit House, Resubelpara.

    Timothy D Shira, Deputy Speaker and Chairman DPDC  in the presence of DPDC officials, Rupert Momin, MLA Kharkutta, Pongseng Marak, MLA Bajengdoba and Resubelpara DC, RP Marak after thorough revision of the proposals made by development departments concluded the meet with the approval of the Draft Annual Plan 2021-2022.

    Timothy Shira in his opening remark said that the state government is focused in bringing all round development to the state, therefore the Council’s meeting with the line departments  is important to discuss the stages of on-going schemes being implemented in the district.

    He further added that the major responsibility in effective implementation of any government sponsored schemes lies with the concerned department and hence urged them to work with utmost sincerity.
