    The Jowai Civil Hospital Blood Bank, organised Blood donation camp at Jowai Blood Bank, Panaliar, Jowai toady to meet to the demand required and to ensure  adequate stock is available during this lockdown period. The Youths from the North East Adventist College, Khliehtyrshi along with Job Kawlni, lecturer Sociology Department, North East Adventist College came forward to voluntarily donate blood.

    In this hour we need more volunteers to come forward and donate blood inorder to be able to help those needy patients coming from far areas who need blood transfusion and unable to replace the same due to this lockdown and also to keep flow adequate supply of Blood in the Blood Bank,’ said Dr P Shylla,

    Doctor Shylla makes an appealed to all people of Jowai and those around Jowai town who can to come forward to donate blood , she informed that the Blood Bank Hospital is open on all working days from 10.00 am to 5.00 Pm.

    The Doctor thanked all the Donors especially the regular donors the youths from North East Adventist College, Khliehtyrshi, the Jowai RSS organization who had recently donated and all the other voluntary donors who came forward to donate during the period of lockdown and also motivating more volunteers to voluntarily donate blood.

    The Youths from the North East Adventist College had expressed happiness in being able to do their bits. Around 14 volunteers had come to donate their blood at the Blood Bank Hospital.
