    Keep all recruitment process on hold until the Reservation Policy is complete amend as per present population ratio, said Voice of People Party (VPP) President Ardent Basiawmoit in a clear cut message to the MDA Govt.

    Speaking at a public rally convened by the VPP in Iawmusiang Jowai, Basiawmoit exhorted the Govt to constitute an expert committee for amending the Reservation Policy.

    Ardent asserted that any dilly dally tactics by the Govt to delay in amending the Reservation Policy will be taken unkindly and they will hit the road.

    Hailing the people of Jaintia Hills for once upon a time gifting the State with responsible leaders for instance Dr Barister Pakem and J D Pohrmen, the Nongkrem MLA rued that nowadays Jaintia Hills are represented by leaders who greed for powers for harvesting more and more wealth at the interest of the people.

    He also referred to Dhar Construction for amassing all contract work for roads for its owner sit in the Secretariat.

    Ardent lamented that the elected public representatives from Jaintia Hills region for remaining mute spectators on various issues including Roster System and Reservation Policy.

    The fire brand politician lashed out against the government for appointing consultants, chairmen, co-chairmen, chief adviser and advisers, but Jowai is yet to get a proper landfill for waste disposal.
