    A District Level Science, Mathematics, and Environment Exhibition with the theme “Science and Technology for Society” was held on May 16 at Jaintia Eastern College, Khliehriat, East Jaintia Hills District.

    Organized by the office of the District School Education Officer, East Jaintia Hills District, the exhibition saw enthusiastic participation from students of various schools in the district.

    During the daylong event, students displayed and elaborated on their models covering diverse topics including Sand Battery Energy, Rain Water Harvesting, Geothermal Power Plant, and Neutralization of Acid Water.

    Following the program, certificates and mementoes were awarded to the winners and runners-up of the exhibition. Md. Noor Ahmad from Little Star Secondary School secured the First Prize, Trustly Rymbai from Good Shepherd Secondary School won the Second Prize, and Diborlang Nongtdu from Tluh Secondary School received the Third Prize.
