    The Deputy Commissioner , East Jaintia Hills District in a press release issued here informs the general public that in order to ensure that only genuine cases of emergency in nature, to stop misuse of curfew passes by the public in East Jaintia Hills District and most importantly to contain the spread of COVID-19 particularly in the District and the state as a whole, all public curfew passes (Green Colour) issued by this office will be countersignature by the Superintendent of Police, East Jaintia Hills District except “ On Government Official Duty” and “On Essential Commodities Duty” (YellowColour).

    The members of the public are instructed to collect the car passes immediately from the office of the superintendent of Police which will be forwarded immediately after due approval by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner. DPRO
