    Deputy Chief Minister, Prestone Tynsong today laid the foundation stone for the upgradation of Tyrsad Sub-Centre to Primary Health Centre at Tyrsad in the presence of Eugeneson Lyngdoh, MLA and L Blah, MDC.

    Speaking on the occasion, Tynsong stated that with the upgradation of the sub-centre, people of Tyrsad and its adjoining areas can access better healthcare facilities.

    The Deputy Chief Minister called upon all stakeholders and the general public to cooperate with the state government in addressing the health issues and to improve the overall health scenario. He also informed that the government is committed in improving the health infrastructure by upgrading the various health centres in the state.

    He also stated that the government is identifying villages which lack basic health amenities and is in the process of setting up health facilities like sub-centres, PHCs and CHCs for better deliveries of health services in rural areas.
