Deputy CM extends financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to Umplu Presbyterian church

In a gesture of goodwill and community service, Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar has extended financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the Umplu Presbyterian Church for the construction of its building. 

Dhar, who is a legislator of Nartiang constituency, expressed his gratitude to God for the blessings and emphasized the importance of community service.

Dhar stated that despite political differences, it is essential for community members to work together on initiatives that benefit the church and society. 

He added that the financial assistance is a token of his appreciation for the community and a way to support their efforts.

Church elder D Lamare expressed the church’s gratitude to Dhar for the financial support, which will go towards constructing the church building.
