DCIC Jowai organizes 35th Industrial Exhibition

The 35^th District Level Industrial Exhibition was inaugurated by Assistant Commissioner WK Kharbuli, MCS on Wednesday. Organised by the office of the General Manager, District Commerce and Industrial Centre, Jowai, with in the office compound. The two-day Industrial Exhibition featured about 30 stalls.

Speaking at the inaugural function, Assistant Commissioner WK Kharbuli lauded the initiative taken by the DCIC in organising a platform that showcases the products crafted by artisans, weavers, small scale manufactures from the district. He encouraged the participants highlighting that exhibitions like this not only highlight their work but also provide an avenue for future opportunities to generate sustainable income through exposure in their respective field.  

General Manager DCIC B Warjri in his welcome address briefed the objective and purpose informing that the exhibition is one of its kind giving advantage to local entrepreneurs, local artisans and traditional artisans to exhibit and showcase their product.
