DC East Garo Hills District directed govt employees to maintain dignity and respect with public

The Deputy Commissioner East Garo Hills District has directed all government employees of the district for maintaining dignity and respect while dealing with the members of the general public
The direction was issued by the DC to the Head of the Department, East Garo Hills District, Williamnagar vide letter no.EGH/ESTT.44/2024/33 Dated: Williamnagar, the 30 May, 2025.
The Deputy Commissioner said, “it is essential that we maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy in our interactions with citizens visiting our office for various purposes.”
He also said that every individual who approaches the government office deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their background or purpose of visit.
The letter urged the government employees to be courteous and respectful in their interactions with the public. He also warned against the use of language or tone that may be perceived as dismissive or unhelpful.
“By upholding these standards, we can ensure that our office provides a welcoming and supportive environment for the public we serve,” said the Deputy Commissioner.
