Dalmia Founder Day observed with distribution of blankets to needy children

As part of its corporate social responsibilities (CSR),.Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd distributed blankets to the underprivileged children residing in Children home boys and Children home girls at Khliehriat, East Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya.

The blankets were distributed on occasion of Dalmia Founder’s Day on Sunday in presence of the staffs of both the Children homes.

It may be mentioned that 11th December is observed as Dalmia Founder’s Day every year in remembrance of the birthday of Late Jai Dayal Dalmia, the founder of Dalmia Bharat Group, a leading conglomerate in India.

As winter is knocking the doors, such small initiative may help the needy to keep themselves warmth and safe from the cold.
