    .In view of the prevailing weather conditions in East Jaintia Hills District due to Cyclonic
    Storm “SITRANG” and as per India Meteorological Department Heavy Rainfall Forecast showing continue rainfall over Meghalaya on the next 24 hours or so, all schools, colleges and all educational institutions in East Jaintia Hills District will remain closed on the 25th October, 2022.

    Meanwhile, due to cyclone forecast, Ri Bhoi deputy commissioner and Chairman DDMA ordered the closure of all schools on Tuesday in the district.

    Similarly West Khasi deputy commissioner and Chairman DDMA ordered the closure of all schools on Tuesday in the district.

    Eastern West Khasi deputy commissioner and Chairman DDMA ordered the closure of all schools and colleges on Tuesday in the district.

    South West Khasi deputy commissioner and Chairman DDMA ordered the closure of all schools and colleges on Tuesday in the district.
