Cybercrime awareness program held in Jowai

To raise awareness about the increasing threat of cybercrime, an awareness program was organized on October 15 by the District Legal Service Authority, Jowai, in collaboration with the Jowai Police, West Jaintia Hills, at the District Library in Mynthong, Jowai.

The speakers emphasized the need for individuals to be cautious while engaging with online platforms and urged them to report cybercrimes without hesitation.

Practical tips were shared to help participants safeguard their personal data.

The students were also informed about common types of cybercrime to help them recognize and avoid potential threats.
