    In view of the improvement of the present law and order situation, M. War Nongbri, LAS, District Magistrate, East Khasi Jills District, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 144 CrPC. do hereby totally LIFT the curfew in the whole of Shillong agglomeration and adjoining areas wef 5:00 AM of Sunday.

    The area included whole of Municipal Area,  Whole of Cantonment Area.

    All area under Mawlai Block including Census Towns, all areas ander Mawpat Bloek including Census Town, area under Myliem Block from Umshyrpi Bridge upto 7thMile, Upper Shillong,  Madanrting. Mawblei, Laitkor, Nongkseh. Umlyngka, Lawsohtun, Mawdiangdiang, Diengiong. Siejiong.

    The area also included Bta Bazar, Paltan Barar, Stand Jeep from District Council Point leading to Motphrun area and upto YMCA, lew Mawlong and areas falling there under, entire Police Bazar bounded by Quinton Road to Umsohsun Bridge and from Khyndailad-G. S. Road- Boucher Road Junction.
