    CRPF NE Sector IG Sh Prakash D on Monday reviewed the present security scenario in the state. 

    The meeting held at Polo was attended by DIG Sh Vinay Kumar Rai, DIG Sh Ram Sukhpal Singh and all the senior CRPF and BSF officers deployed in the state. 

    The IG exhorted the officers to work in tandem with the state police authorities in maintaining law and order in the State. 

    Close coordination with various security agencies and collection of intelligence was stressed upon. 

    Error free campus security mechanism was also asked to be set up. All men should be equipped with proper anti-riot equipments while doing duty. 

    All the officers presented their assessment report to the IG regarding the situation in their respective areas of responsibility. 

    Foot patrolling, Naka duty and surprise checking of anti-social elements along with local police were stressed upon. The IG also appealed to the local public to cooperate with law enforcing agencies.
