COVID-19: West Garo Hills to test all returnees from Shillong

In view of the rapid surge of COVID-19 cases in the State, District Magistrate, West Garo HIlls District, Ram Singh, IAS on Wednesday informed that all returnees from Shillong has to be tested for covid.

Taking to facebook after the state Government announces for complete lockdown in East Khasi Hills District, the District Magistrate said “All returnees from Shillong to be tested for covid.”

Govt announces five-day complete lockdown in East Khasi Hills, weekend lockdown for other districts

The State Government has announced five days complete lockdown from 8 pm of May 5 that is tonight till 5 am of May 10 in East Khasi Hills District following uncontrollable surge in the number of COVID-19 cases.
