COVID-19: Two days Total Curfew in Shillong from Monday

The East Khasi Hills district magistrate Matsiewdor Nongbri has imposed ‘Total Curfew’ in all Shillong Agglomeration and its adjoining area from 6 am of 13^th July to 6 am of 15^th July.

The order however will not apply to security forces, medical teams on duty, wholesale and retail pharmacies, police and armed forces, and other essential services.

The order said, exemption granted to Official and Non-Official emergency/essential services, establishments and agencies above shall not extend to Frontier Headquarter BSF Campus, Umpling, which is declared containment area.
