COVID-19: Three new areas declared Micro Containment in West Jaintia Hills

The District Magistrate, West Jaintia Hills District on Monday declared three areas as micro containment in the district after the detection of new positive COVID-19 cases.

This include Umrapasa, Chilliangraij Locality, Jowai, Dong Lumpdang Mawtyrshiah-A Village and Joseph Nardini Seminary, Ummulong.

The order issued restrict unregulated entry and exit in the affected areas to complete the contact tracing of high risk contact.

No persons shall be allowed to move into the Containment Area and inhabitant within the Containment Area shall not move out.

All the inhabitants within the Containment Area shall strictly remain inside their homes.
