COVID-19: Micro containment declared in Jhalupara

The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District, in an order issued on 20^th September, 2020 has declared 7 more houses in Jhalupara as micro containment after the detection of positive COVID-19 cases.

This includes the house of Shumbul Ali, Rohini Baghdas, Sitaram Sharma, Md Shagri, Dr. M M Khan, Amit Sharma and the house of Sunita Gurung.

The order issued restrict unregulated entry exit in the affected areas as they requires contact tracing, testing and isolation to be effected in the interest of health of general public to prevent against any possible spread of COVID-19.
