COVID-19: House in Jowai declared micro containment

The District Magistrate, West Jaintia Hills, Garod LSN Dykes has declared a residential house and compound in Jowai as micro containment.

The order was issued by District Magistrate on the recommendation on the recommendation made by the District Medical & Health Officer, West Jaintia Hils District, Jowai after the detection of positive COVID-19 cases/ high risk contacts in Iongpiah, Jowai.

The residential house and compound which was declared as micro containment include the house of Lamwan Pasweth, Heisuk Kyndiah and Pynhunlangki Toi of longpiah, Jowai.

The order restrict unregulated entry and exit in the affected area from September 28 until further orders as to complete the contact tracing of high rick contacts in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
