COVID-19: 2 more armed forces personnel tests positive

Another two armed forces personnel were tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, taking the total number of active cases in the state to 7.

“Two more Armed forces personnel have tested positive for COVID19 in Shillong.Total Cases 50, Total Active cases 7,” Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma said in his twitter handle.

This came after an armed forces personnel, who came from Bihar, was tested positive for coronavirus recently.

With fresh cases, the state has now recorded a total of 50 positive cases.

So far 42 have recovered from the disease while 1 died.
