Coronavirus: Rani Motors showroom temporarily closed

The Deputy Commissioner East Khasi Hills District has directed the Rani Motors showroom at Mawblei to temporarily remain closed until further orders on Friday, after one person who has tested positive for COVID-19 visited the showroom.

“There has been recent high risk and low risk contact with the COVID-19 positive case and required aggressive contact tracing, quarantine, testing and isolation as well as containment in the interest of the health of the general public against any possible spread of COVID-19,” the order said.
