Coronavirus: More micro containment declared in Shillong

The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District on Wednesday has declared more micro containment in Shillong after COVID-19 positive cases.

The new micro containment are namely:

House of Shri Jokstar Marbaniang, Wahingdoh Block-3.

Houses of Shri Deepak Sinha, Haripad Sukla Baydya, Bidhan Malakar, Bijoy Devnath, Ganga Ram Jat, Champa Dhar, Pradeep Ghosh, Maloy Dhar and Ionglang Passah at Lower Mawprem.

House of Subrata Das, tenant of Biswajit Dutta, Nirala Compound, Lower Lachumiere opposite PCI and in the house of Smti H.B. Diengdoh, Lawsohtun, Block-6 

In separate order, the district magistrate has lifted containment order for the house of Brigthwell Bungalow Quarter No – 4 opposite to Lady Hydari Park, the house of Shri J. Myrthong, Laban Masjid Road, opposite Elswer School, Laban and house of (L) Smti D. Wahlang, Howell Road, Laban and the Top Floor of the house of Mrs. Isabella Dhar, Hattak Colony, Oxford Hill, near Angel Guest House. The the Qtr No-P11/3B, GPO Quarters, CPO Compound, house of Nijabul Hussein, Qutub Manzil, Keating Road and house of Arun Kariwal, Flat W-303, Ferndale Apartments.

In Mawprem, Houses of Eminiancy Lyngdoh and Dr. R.E. Donn at Lower Mawprem has been untagged as a containment area, however, the remaining area contained in order issued on 04^th October, 2020 is still retain as a micro containment area.
