    The Laban State Dispensary, Shillong has been temporarily closed down after the detection of COVID-19 positive cases.

    The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District, in an order issued on Sunday 2020 has directed the Laban State Dispensary, Shillong to temporarily remain closed until further orders.

    In another order, the District Magistrate has also declared the house of Smti B.L Nongpiur at Madan Laban (Rum), Shillong and the quarters within Laban State Dispensary at Laban as micro-containment areas.

    The order restrict unregulated entry and exit in the affected which requires contact tracing, testing and isolation to be effected in the interest of the health of the general public to prevent against any possible spread of COVID-19.
