Corona Curfew timing change in East Khasi Hills

The curfew timings in East Khasi Hills District have been revised to 7 PM to 5 AM daily, till further orders.

The order was issued on Tuesday by East Khasi District Magistrate in partial modification to earlier order issued on June 12.

“CURFEW will be promulgated in the District w.e.f 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM daily, till further orders. During the hours from 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM, only activities spelled out in the aforementioned order will be permitted as part of strict containment measures to prevent spread and further spike in COVID-19 cases,” the order said.

The order further said that anyone moving in defiance of orders will be liable for penalties.
