    The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District has withdrawn four containment zone in Shillong after no new COVID-19 cases have been detected from these areas.

    The areas that have been untagged from containment zone are:

    The Administrative Building within the Home Guard & Civil Defence Campus, Mawdiangdiang. However, the other remaining buildings are still retained as a containment area.

    RP Chest Hospital Road, opposite Crematorium, Mawbah Barapathar bounded in the North by the house of Shri Ravi Marbaniang, in the East house of  Mrs Aparna Sharma in the   South house of  Arati Bhavan and in the West TB Hospital Road.

    Houses of Samuel Lalremkime at Risa Colony and Dr. D. Robin Dkhar located at Demthring Block 3 near Supercare Hospital.

    In another order, the District Administration declared the house of Mankupar Phanbuh, 1st Floor located at Lower Mawprem, Lumkshaid as a micro containment area.
