    The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills on Thursday lifted the containment order from various houses in Shillong after no new COVID-19 cases.

    The area that have been untagged from containment order include the house of Santosh Thapa, Nepali Compound, Rilbong, the Staff Quarters and Staff Dormitory of the Pinewood Hotel, Shillong and the Compound of Smti Iakmenlang Khyriem and Smti Sngewbhalang Khyriem (including the tenants) at Nongkhyriem Block-4, Nongthymmai, Shillong.

    In another order, the District Magistrate has declared the house of John Sohtun at Pohktieh, Shillong as a micro containment after the detection COVID-19 positive cases.
