Containment order lifted from Lower Mawprem

The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District in order issued on 28th September 2020 has lifted the containment order which was earlier placed in Lumpyllon, Lower Mawprem, Shillong.

In an order issued, the District Magistrate said that based on report of the Incident Commander and the Medical Officer in charge of Zone-IV that the active house to house (H-T-H) search for persons with symptoms and contact tracing of the high risk and low risk contacts have completed from MUDA Housing Complex and Field Residency Inn in the West upto the house of Robina Thangkhiew bounded by Municipal drain in the East and North from the house of Imosila Sohtun and Daphi Marbaniang upto the house of Rosa Kharbamon and Darisha Kharbamon in the South bounded by Municipal drain.

The district administration has also lifted the containment order from the building and compound of Smti. Santina Kharkongor at Madanrting, Block F.

In another order, the District Magistrate after the the detection of positive COVID-19 cases/high risk contacts has declared the compound of Tamal Bhattacherjee, Rilbong near Beat House, house of Wilson Kharkrang at Wahkdait, Malki and the house of Samuel Lalremkime at Risa Colony as micro containment areas.
