Containment order lifted from 7 areas in Shillong

The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District on Thursday has lifted the containment from 9 areas in Shillong .

The areas that restriction has been lifted are:

House Shri M. Paudel at Lawsohtun Block-5,

House of Anita Pariat at Qualapatty,

Houses of Vishal Singh Mawrie and Ajay Singh located at Sweepers Lane, Mawlonghat,

House of Moonlight and Mina Chettri at Lower Mawprem,

House of Shri Biswarup Chakraborty (tenant) in the compound of Smti H. Kharshandy, near Shillong Guest House at Howell Road Laban,  

House of Jhumella Shylla, Club 1, Pynthorumkhrah 

Compound of Shri Biplop Das, Club 3, Pynthorumkhrah.

In a separate order, the district magistrate declared the house of Woling Lyngdoh, Mawkhar Block-3 as a Micro-Containment Area after the detection of COVID-19 positive cases to complete the contact tracing in order to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus disease.
