Congress announces candidates for by polls

The Congress national president has approved its candidates for the upcoming by elections to the three Assembly seats to be held on October 30.

Informing this Mukul Wasnik General Secretary Incharge CEC said that Congress President, Sonia Gandhi, has approved the proposal for the candidature of the party candidates to contest the ensuing bye-elections to the Legislative Assembly of Meghalaya.

The party has decided to field Highlander Kharmalki from Mawryngkneng constituency, Kennedy C Khriem from Mawphlang and Hashina Yasmin Mondal from Rajabala Constituency.
