Congress announces 3 more candidates for JHADC polls

The Congress has added another three names of candidates to its second list for the upcoming elections to the autonomous district councils (ADCs) in the Khasi and Jaintia Hills region, slated to be held on February 21.

They are Pynbiangmi Laloo – Mowkaiaw, Brosent Siangshai – Musniang-Rangad and Bashan Tangliang – Sumer.

The number of candidates in the second list has now gone up to 19.

So far, the Congress has announced a total 45 candidates for the elections to the two ADCs, of which  19 from JHADC and 26 from KHADC.
