Community library inaugurated in Laitumkhrah to promote reading culture

A community library, an initiative of the Seng Kynthei Laitumkhrah Pyllun and supported by local MLA and NEEPCO, was inaugurated at the Don Bosco Youth Centre, Laitumkhrah, on Saturday.

The library was inaugurated by Dr. Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh, Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, in the presence of officials from NEEPCO, members of Sahaki, donors, and members of the community.

Aimed at encouraging a culture of reading and learning, the library seeks to serve students and readers by offering access to a wide collection of books and educational materials
