    Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has directed district administration to provide relief to places damaged due to heavy rains.

    Taking to X, the CM said, “Due to strong winds and heavy rains in some parts of the State many houses have been damaged. Have asked administration to immediately provide relief.”

    Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds lashed out in certain areas in the damaging rooftops, electric posts.It may be added that the state including its capital Shillong witnessed rising temperatures which went up to 30 degrees Celsius, considered to be rather torrid for the hill station.

    Due to strong winds and heavy rains in some parts of the State many houses have been damaged. Have asked administration to immediately provide relief.
