    A Circle Level “Dak Adalat” will be held in the office of the Chief Postmaster General, North East Circle, Shillong on 28.02.2024 at 11:00 AM. The Dak Adalat will entertain grievances pertaining to Postal Services for its redressal.

    Written complaints may be sent through Ordinary Post or Speed Post with the subject “Dak Adalat” superscribed on the cover, addressed to the Chief Postmaster General, North East Circle, Shillong-793001. The complaints should contain full details like complete address and registration receipt number etc. For complaints about Savings Schemes and Postal Life Insurances, the account number, policy number and full address of the depositor/insurer should be given.

    Written complaints should be sent so as to reach the office of the Chief Postmaster General, North East Circle, Shillong-793001 on or before 26.02.2024. Complaints, if any, received after this period will be redressed through the usual channel. Complaints can also be sent in the email address: [email protected]. Further, Meghalaya Postal Division will be holding a Divisional Level Lok Adalat in the office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Meghalaya Division on 30.01.2024 at 11:00 AM in which customer grievances received from the postal customers of Meghalaya Postal Division on all services offered by the Department of Posts will be attended. Hence, any customer having grievance on any of the services offered by the Department of Posts, may submit their complaints in writing so as to reach the office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Meghalaya Division on or before 29.01.2024.
