    All India Catholic Union, Jowai Diocese and Friends of Jesuits under the leadership of
    Gilbert Sten, President All India Catholic Union, Jowai Diocese and other leaders led a candlelight vigil in Jowai last night to appeal for the release of Father Stan Swamy who was arrested by the National Investigation Agency, which alleged him of being a terrorist.

    Gilbert Sten along with Fr. Gabriel Kharluni, Fr. Aibor Denis Nongbah along with several Catholic faithful take part in the candlelight vigil.

    The Union has expressed concern over the arrest of the priest and request the government to release the Jesuit Father Stan Swamy who was arrested by the National Investigation Agency on October 8.
