    The District Legal Services Authority, Khliehriat, East Jaiñtia Hills District in collaboration with the office Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police and the District Transport Officer will organise a car and bike rally to promote safe driving habits in the District on March 13.

    The objective of the rally is to create awareness of safe driving habits and to strictly follow the mandatory profession of the Amendment Motor Vehicle Act. The rally will start from Mookhep to Byndihati from 8 am. The program will conclude at Khliehriat Higher Secondary School.

    Tourist and taxi association of the district, bikers from Tuber, Jowai and others will be part on March 13 Rally.

    DS Marbaniang, Secretary DLSA informed that will be a free eye check-up by the DMHO, a slogan, essay competition for students, certificates of participation will also be awarded. Besides, there will be entertainment by various artists from the district.
